Tidbits
« Previous Entries Thursday, July 7th, 2011 You know, I think I’ve never posted this image, though you may recognize it from someplace. This cute Roza pose is featured on the back of the Chapter 3 book. I’m still working my way through the next page, hope this will do in the meanwhile.
This is definitely the sausage-making part of the process, so don’t mind my sloppy notes, bad grammar, and odd notations. The scene summaries were included to help set the stage, though in the script itself some details have changed.
And it should go without saying, but anyway- major spoilers inside!
In the spirit of ‘Behind the Scenes’ I’ve got another tidbit to share- the initial outline and script for Roza and the Sparrow Knight. About 6 pages were cut from the final story, so those scenes can be found here, as well as an extended ending. I cut a lot of dialog and chit-chat to pick up the pace. For the sake of Chapter 4, it can be assumed that those conversations never happened.
You may have figured out a few things from Chapter 3 on your own, but in case you didn’t you’ll find a few spoilers.

Thursday, June 18th, 2009The tutorial page has finally been updated! Since chapter 1 (when I made the old tutorial) my Roza technique has evolved, so now you can see the secrets behind the newest pages.
Chapter 3 has begun, exciting times ahead!
As for me, I’m gainfully employed for a few more weeks. The future is uncertain, and I could be forced to cut back on updates later, but until then I’ll try to keep the pages coming.
Here’s a little bonus – a new wallpaper, sized for widescreen monitors. It’s the art from the Chapter 3 title page, but BIG! Enjoy!
