Making of Page 13 (and deja-vu)
Several folks have expressed confusion about the story updates- wasn’t there more? Have I seen this already?
You’re not crazy, you may have seen this before.
Unlike earlier chapters, for chapter 4 I tried a new process.
First, I wrote out the script and posted up here for my readers to peruse. Next, I sketched out the whole chapter in rough pages, which got posted weekly like a regular comic update. Then, I started from the beginning editing and coloring the rough pages. To keep the archive in order, all the rough pages were removed once color updates started to appear.
The rough pages are now getting posted in these updates for comparison with the color pages as they are finished.
Short version: Chapter 4 was posted already as rough pages, then taken down, and now only color pages are in the archive.

The village ended up getting a name in the color version.

Any guesses on when the next page is due?
The pages are supposed to come out roughly around every monday, but the last page is dated around the end of September.
I’ve been a bit concerned~ I know the scripts and roughs for this entire chapter have been finished for quite a while, all that’s left is the coloring. Not that that isn’t ridiculously time consuming.
I’m still a little worried, it seems she disappeared without a peep, her facebook page hasn’t been updated since the end of august. Clearly she’s busy with something else at the moment, but wouldn’t she say something if she was going on hiatus?
This happens ALL the time. I’m starting to lose interest. I’m more amazed when a new comic is up rather than being happy with the comic. Time to move on!
I’m confused now … I thought this chapter wasn’t fully coloured yet? Time for an archive trawl to check?
