Status update

status-update

Sorry for dropping off the map, folks. I got busy, went on vacation, lost momentum, and then started having RSI problems with my hands. Another contributing factor could be that my day job involves drawing comic characters, leaving me with less passion to draw even more comics when I get home.

Regardless, I’ll post the last few pages of this chapter, and continue to update when I am able, although it will not likely be as consistent as in the past. Thanks for sticking with me this long :)

Hey, welcome back. Didn’t know about your day job. It’s always interesting to see what webcomic artists’ alter egos are.

As a sidenote… ahh, the beauty of RSS feeds. I can almost forget about a comic, yet still catch every update the instant it happens. Glad that Rosa’s not dead. :D

  2. Rowan says:

If only I were smart enough to use the RSS feed, but I do love the thrill of randomly checking Roza and seeing an update.

Take care of yourself! I know how a job that relies on creativity can drain pretty much every bit of willpower there is. Better to pace yourself and focus on the important things, or it’ll make you miserable all over.

I’m a patient fan. The internet’s not going anywhere, and neither am I. :)

    > my day job involves drawing comic characters,

Sounds great. It’s a great luck when a job is also a hobby. Very glad for you.

  4. Liquessen says:

Oh my, you draw for Avengers Alliance?! :o I play that one. I hope you like it, the job that is, and we look forward to all the updates you can give us, whenever you can :) Let Roza be a joy and relaxation for you, and not an obligation.

  5. Lurker says:

Yay! A new page! I’ve been voting for Roza on TWC ever since the last update. Keep up the good work, when you can!

  6. Aikachi says:

Great to have you back! I hope your break was recooperative and you’ve been able to refresh yourself a bit. Sorry to hear about your hands, I hope they stay healthy and happy~

I look forward to seeing the next chapter, whenever you have time to share it with us c: Roza is one of the most original webcomics I’ve stumbled upon, and I’d love to see what plans you have for the future of the story, especially since it seems that what happened to Biali might finally come into focus soonish.

Whenever you have time for us, your fans’ enthusiasm won’t waver :D

  7. Eversist says:

Good to see nothing bad’s happened to you. :)

Take your time with the free entertainment! And don’t get burnt out.

Don’t push yourself though. You’ve made an excellent story and your fanbase will be here no matter what.

Your back!!! Yay!!! I don’t usually comment on comics but I figured you would appreciate support. Welcome back! Take all the time you need, as long as you don’t stop the comic entirely.

  15. Stomme poes says:

Huh, that this guy was doing the Avengers cartoon was interesting, and he has advice (comic writers should do animation storyboarding) http://www.paperwingspodcast.com/2012/11/marvel-studios-storyboard-artist-justin-copeland/
From looking at the rough sketches and lined versions, it seems you do indeed storyboard.

Roza will probably always have a link on my page I go to when looking to read comics. It’s one of the good ones.

  16. sue says:

We’ll be here waiting for more pages of your lovely comic :D Time’s a tricky one, and no worries, as long as we know you’ll keep at comic-ing X)
