First page of the new chapter is up!
I’m trying a different style this time, more loose and painterly. I’m hoping it’ll still read while being a bit easier on my drawing hand, which isn’t back to 100% yet. For the full color pages I always added a bit of paper texture to counter the flat digitalness of the colors, and I think on the black and white pages it looks nice too.
Kind of crazy to think that Roza has been a project of mine since 2004! Almost 10 years now. Thanks to my awesome readers for sticking around this long :)

as for the last panel it will be interesting to see what will happen next… perhaps a hand snapped at?

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this, your art is beautiful, i especially your landscape scenes. I’m going to study your art and see if I can learn from it. Learning to make this sort of artwork is a hobby of mine. I also am really impressed with your animals, such as Notch, Nic, and Esten as a Bear, most impressive! I love the characters too (So please no waking up next to people, that would totally kill my love for this comic, I prefer my heroes to be moral human beings, preferable even better at being good in some ways then me. Then I have something to strive for :-) Thank you so much! I’m sorry about your hand! You might take a couple weeks off and ask people for fan art you could post (though probably not in the comic continuum but in a separate tab)

Yay! So happy the comic is updating again. Don’t strain your hand too much, though! Take your time, your fans will still be here.
Wait, did you break your hand or something? Is that why we haven’t had any comics?
I had to take a break due to pain/swelling in my hands… I hold the pencil incorrectly and it finally caught up with me! So now I have gone through hand therapy and am trying to maintain my hands better. I’ll never again be able to do a full color page a week and a full time job, though.

I’m so excited to see this story continue– and I’m really digging the black and white, too! Your artwork is so beautiful, whether in color or greyscale!
And my sympathies on your hand pain; I nearly gave up on drawing because of CTS but eventually learned to deal with it by way of wrist braces and learning to hold my tools differently. I hope you find some easy methods for relief…
