    I’m excited to see the finished pages, and I’ve loved seeing your work in progress. I like your cover page, but I actually like the rough sketch more. I think the final drawing makes Roza look a bit like a statue and loses the dynamic that fire should bring to the image.

      The cover did end up kind of stiff and sterile, right?
      Maybe I should go back and do some of that loose brushwork as in the initial sketch. Somehow I always seem to end up doing another cover by the end of the chapter, anyway ^_^;

    I fail somewhat as a good fan. I don’t read the forums really and most often don’t read the comments/news, but I did today and because of that learned that most of what I’ve been reading and looking at has been just rough drafts and I just had to say that I’m very impressed. Even the rough drafts of the pages are awesome. And now I get to go back and look through the comic again and see all the shiny colored pages. Good job Kelly! You rock!
