Hey folks! I had a great time meeting fans at ECCC, hopefully I’ll be able to do some more local cons this year.
I’ve been resting up my hand again, so work on the next page is going very slowly. In the meanwhile I’ve been scanning and posting some sketchy goodness in a couple of places, take a look-
As always, thanks for reading!Thursday, February 28th, 2013
I’m making a surprise appearance at Emerald City Comic Con!
You can find me at table Z-23 in the gaming section, Sunday only! Other Avengers Alliance artists will be manning the table all weekend. Swing by to get sketches, complain about Nightcrawler or just say howdy :)
It’s short notice so I won’t have much Roza merch, but I’ll sign whatever you bring me!
Coming soon – chapter 5: Roza and the Glass Tower.Sunday, September 23rd, 2012
Sorry for dropping off the map, folks. I got busy, went on vacation, lost momentum, and then started having RSI problems with my hands. Another contributing factor could be that my day job involves drawing comic characters, leaving me with less passion to draw even more comics when I get home.
Regardless, I’ll post the last few pages of this chapter, and continue to update when I am able, although it will not likely be as consistent as in the past. Thanks for sticking with me this long :)Wednesday, March 28th, 2012
It’s been quiet around here lately, so I wanted to post a quick update to show how things are coming along. The next Roza chapter, “Roza and the Glass Tower,” is still in development. I’ve roughed out the entire story and I’m now working on the page-by-page script. The last two chapters I tried to limit to 36 pages max, but they ended up feeling rushed in parts. This time I’m less concerned with page count, and as a result this book will probably be twice as long, perhaps even split into two parts. The plan is still to complete this book in the same rough black and white format as I did for Roza and the Sunken Kingdom.
You’re going to see lots of new characters and locations, and I’ll begin showing some more of the concepts here. One of the first new characters in the next book is Terhi, although we don’t get to find out her name in the plot. Below are some rough concept sketches for her.
